At Artemis Equine Vets, we are proud to offer professional veterinary care for horses competing under FEI regulations. Our veterinary surgeon, Kate Granshaw, is both an FEI Permitted Treating Veterinarian and an Official Veterinarian (OV) for Eventing and Dressage. With years of experience working at national and international FEI events, Kate is well-versed in the rules, veterinary protocols, and performance requirements of elite competition.

Kate regularly provides official veterinary cover at FEI competitions, carrying out veterinary inspections, administering permitted treatments and ensuring compliance with FEI welfare standards. Her experience makes her ideally placed to support competition horses both pre-event and on the day, helping riders
meet all regulatory requirements while optimising their horse’s performance.

We offer a range of FEI-specific services including pre-competition health checks, soundness assessments, vaccination and medication guidance, passport/documentation support, and on-event veterinary care. Whether you're preparing for your first FEI event or competing internationally, we’re here to support your horse’s success at the highest level.
