Kate Granshaw
BVetMed(Hons) CertAVP(EM) CertAVP(ESOrth)
MRCVS
Kate is a highly experienced equine vet who has been working in the local area for nearly 20 years. She focuses on sports horse medicine, orthopaedics, and poor performance, and has built a strong reputation in these areas.
Since 2018, Kate has served as the Chief Veterinary Officer for the South of England Showground and is an FEI Permitted Treating Veterinarian as well as an Official Veterinarian for both Eventing and Dressage, regularly working at national and international competitions.
In addition to her clinical work, Kate is the Vet Partner for Equine Performance Thermography and the resident Veterinary Advisor for NKC Equestrian Training, delivering both in-person and online training courses for clients and equine professionals.
Kate is committed to providing exemplary, personalised care for every horse and rider. She takes pride in helping each horse achieve their maximum potential and loves seeing her patients out and about competing.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with her young family, and when time allows, training her dressage horse Galaxy, pampering her beloved retired mare Gloria, walking her rescue spaniel Bella, wild swimming, sea dipping, and practising yoga.

Dr Katie Selhorst

Katie graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2024. Following graduation, she moved to New Zealand to complete a rotating internship at a high-volume equine hospital in the North Island, where she remained as a junior ambulatory vet, gaining invaluable experience during the intensive Thoroughbred racing and breeding season.
Prior to her veterinary studies, Katie completed a Masters of Research focusing on the genetics of equine neuromuscular disease. Having worked with horses in various capacities across the globe, she returns to the UK with a refined clinical interest in poor performance, lameness, diagnostic imaging and surgery.
Katie is dedicated to delivering clinical excellence and highly personalised care for every patient. She find great fulfilment in supporting horses through their recovery and helping them return to their peak performance and well-being.
Outside of work, Katie continues to spend time with horses and can usually be found at the yard with her three horses – George, Diaz, and Benny. When she isn’t in the saddle she enjoys hiking with her retired greyhound, Mitzy, and exploring the outdoors.

Beth Craigie
Beth has been working as an Equine Vet Nurse in South East Kent since 2019. She completed her training and became a Registered Equine Veterinary Nurse in 2024. She has a keen interest in sports horse work, lameness, poor performance and diagnostic imaging.
Beth has experience with backing, riding, competing and caring for a variety of horses including youngsters, show jumpers and event horses of all ages and career levels.
Beth has a strong passion for delivering clinical excellence, fantastic patient care and client support. She strives to give the utmost professional and high standard of service to every client and patient. All horses are treated as individuals and given the time, care and attention they require.
In her spare time Beth will be out competing on her mare Lulu, spending time with her youngster Simba, walking her dogs or spending time with family and friends.

Emily has been working in administration throughout Veterinary practices across the South East since 2017 and has a Diploma in Business Administration.
Her experience in practice has ranged from running the diary on a day-to-day basis, pharmacy, laboratory and office management. Emily is keen to ensure a high level of customer service.
Emily has grown up around horses and ponies on her family’s farm with experience in breeding youngstock and riding. Emily has also assisted at Point to Point meetings and local shows.
In her spare time Emily will be found looking after her flock of sheep, walking her dogs and pampering a mischievous Shetland pony!
